So i got some new stuff up and running. Still very course though, and not sure in what direction to go regarding gameplay.

Plz comment anything you like (most of the bugs i know of but anyway:)

Very nice. The plane flight model has a really natural feel to it, and the submarine controls are clear and functional. I see you got your underwater fog working as well. I'm very interested in seeing this progress (because I loooooves the salty seamen).

There's not much obvious overlap with my project du jour, but if you're looking for code to deal with rotating guns within limited arcs, you're welcome to swipe anything useful from my BFI demo. It was surprisingly tricky to get right.

Cool update, looks like it's coming along well!

Are the bombs meant to explode at all...? they didn't when i shot the heightmap, a bug or not implemented yet?

The underwater stuff looks pretty good, good luck with the rest of it!

As I was explaining to Mrs Borg last week (as she stuck her fingers in her ears and went "LA LA LA"), you know you're doing well when people expect your demo to do more than it does.

Yeah, I have to say this was a great demo. The camera work for the plane was superb, and very professional. I can't wait to see a finished product made out of this demo.

If I recall correctly, he said he hacked that camera together. Which means that I don't think it would be too nice to look at. :lol:

And also, he might just be waiting for the final release (which I can't wait for) before he releases his source.

Thanks for the thumbs up. Im still working out the gameplay (and no, i havent gotten down to making the explosions yet:)

The code should be fairly clean. Its not that complicated, but it took A LOT of trail and error and forum support to get it to work properly.

I put my new version there which is more generic and has some new settings.

It is very beautiful. I was trying to do something similar but it is certainly your best. It is not that you could post the code, unless you want to tell me how you managed to do interact air and mouse but mostly to bend it in that manner spectacular. :D :D

In italian:
è veramente bello. Io stavo provando a fare qualcosa di simile ma il tuo è sicuramente più bello. Non è che potresti postare il codice, se non vuoi potresti dirmi come hai fatto a fare interagire aereo e mouse ma sopratutto a curvarlo in quella maniera spettacolare.

I played yours. I feel it has great possibility.
Why does a plane have drark paint? you must use an animation tool to move a mesh.
The age of a plane and a submarine is different.

well the models are just test-objects. Alctually this project is switching setting entierly. More info will come.
