I think I've never understood the point of having different themes on a message-board. What's the point? I can understand choosing between a light/dark versions depending on screen type and lighting conditions around you etc., but having slight color variations .. who cares?

Yeah well i have to agree with you on the color variations. What I want is a dark theme i can read at night without having to adjust the brightness.

As i wrote earlier:

Most browsers allow to override the CSS stylesheets. Just use a custom one when browsing the Irrlicht forums.

The CSS for the code box would look like this:

Well it looks like there are a lot of people who would like another theme. I suggest that everyone who voted yes now posts a link to http://www.phpbb3styles.net/ with their candidate and after a few days, i will make a poll where everyone will have the opportunity to cast a vote. At the end, a winner will be selected and, if the admins agree, the winner theme will be added to this forum as another option.

Unless someone has better idea, you can now start posting url links to the themes

Should a (forum) skin not represent the organization/community rather than fitting your personal likings?

A custom skin can be fun, but would that not break down the 'community' feeling? Everyone gets a different view based on their personal styles. So if there would be a third skin, it should represent Irrlicht and not directly someones personal taste.

There is too much space around "LICHT". I guess this is intended, but I believe it is second-rate.
