Your AI Designer reminds me of UDK's Kismet stuff, if you've really managed to get it all working then I would have to say I'm impressed

I'm a huge sucker for fighting games BTW, I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turns out :)

A quite random screenshot I took today after adding clouds and a simple skybox:

something i was tinkering with, a simple tree shader. I'm going for a kind of studio ghibli look with the graphics.

Nice. I can imagine it will look very good if it has a better leaves texture.

I thought "ghibli" meant that kind of "artitistic" shading. I think it looks good. It's not photorealistic, but it is artful.

-The Hunter-

This is a camera mapping example, this technique is used a lot in the movies.
This is good for fighting games. Mortal Kombat uses camera mapping.

Camera mapping is a clever technique that allows you to take a still image and convert it
into 3d geometry for use in an animation. This powerful technique is used extensively
by visual effects studios for feature films, commercials and television shows. It's
especially useful for faking helicopters flyovers because it costs just a fraction of the
cost of hiring a real helicopter.

The purpose of this was to show you that you can create great looking scenes with using minimal to no shaders at all, Its all in the art.

And yes that really is irrlicht.

You can find a blender video here about how this is done.

Dunno, but looks a lot like tone mapping.

BTW, is that really irrlicht?

Here's a depth of field shader I spent a while on. I'm using it in one of my projects to make the scale of the map seem miniature. And it quite nicely achieves this effect: Image

@Lonesome Ducky: It seams to work incorrectly AFAIK how dof works. Because some near places look more blurred out than a lot further places(not blurred at all).

But the depth of field works that way. Depending on the settings, the near planes and the far planes become blurred, while the middle of the field of view, the point where the lens is suposed to be aimed, becomes sharp and viewable.
