Cartography Shop Map Loader

Post by mohaps »

These are screenshots from Cartography Shop 4.x map loader I have gotten the .csm files to be imported as IMesh* with lightmaps.

the difference is huge :)

With 4 lights ( Click Me For Hi res Image )

It takes around 3ms to create the octree scene node.

I shall be polishing the cod eup and hopefully releasing it by next weekend.

this gives the irrlicht community acces to lightmapped maps which are free for use in commercial projects and at the less than $100 price point

I have a question :

I tried to make the lightmapped map be affected by dynamic lighting... but failed... any ideas on how to do this...???

I tried the material flags EMF_LIGHTMAP_LIGHTING_XX

any help appreciated...

Also right now the UV rotation and scale / offset is not implemented

Ah, well -- I guess I shouldn't have bothered with the CSM2MIM converter. :)
