dear friends and family, we have implemented dynamic resolution rendering.... a stepping stone towards mixed resolution particle rendering

this enables me to rape your GPU with 100x overdraw while framerate is maintained at 18 to 24fps (depending on how much you move) even when you're IN THE ACTUAL FOREST THAT IS ON FIRE

There is another voxel game that uses irrlicht.

Its called Minetest. It is open source, and could do with some more developers.

If anyone is interested: minetest.net

I am posting it here not with the intent of spam, but to see whether you are your developers would be interested in developing an open source game.

If not, then at least it would be interesting to hear your opinions.

Heh, Build a world has vastly outgrown minetest.

I wasnt talking about the game, but about hijacking other people's threads, with your own stuff... not good manners and should disallowed. Happens on many forums.

It is not my own project.
I was just suggesting that one of your developers might be interested in developing for an open source game.

Well, yeah. Build a world is propitiatory while Minetest is opensource.

I do like what you have done in this game, how much will it be for sale for?

we havent decided yet, but about €25... which includes an online server. Each player has an online server in the cloud, and he can invite other players or join other servers...
no more NAT'ing... :-)

its was on topic and relevant...

And to whoever is making mine-test, delete the source and start from scratch... also before making any game or game sub-system, try to anticipate the technical challenges and the solutions before you hit the walls.
^^^ because minetest gets a worse Framerate than our game, while a forest is on fire
