  • Direct import of common mesh file formats: Maya (.obj), 3DStudio (.3ds), COLLADA (.dae), Blitz3D (.b3d), Milkshape (.ms3d), Quake 3 levels (.bsp), Quake2 models (.md2), Microsoft DirectX (.X)...
  • Direct import of Textures: Windows Bitmap (.bmp), Portable Network Graphics (.png), Adobe Photoshop (.psd), JPEG File Interchange Format (.jpg), Truevision Targa (.tga), ZSoft Painbrush (.pcx)...
  • Directly reading from (compressed) archives. (.zip, .pak, .pk3, .npk).

Sry but your feature list isn't really showing of your editor...more like showing of irrlicht.

Interesting point of view sudi !
What can i say, it is true and false together :
All irrlicht's features works also in 3d3ditor, so i don't think it's wrong to also enumerate their on my feature list, but perhaps i can change the way in which the presentation of the feature list is expressed.

Also it's not exactly the same feature list, differences are :
-Work yet only on Windows (Linux et OSX platforms currently in development).
-TextureCube support and realtime CubeMaps creation.
-Build with the librairie 'Qt ' to give powerful, customizeable, and easy to use GUI.

ps: I did that also because some people can view my site from outside this forum without having any knowledge of irrlicht's feature, also take that like a small reminder of irrlicht's feature.

Well when someone promotes an editor i wanna see editor features.
Like placing scenenodes, material editing, particle system editing, what level/map format are you exporting to, maybe adding custom vars to scenenodes, editor is extenable with plugins....i could go on forever

I'm glad to see this, as IrrEdit sure could use an update. Thank you for making this!

I'll also note that Irrlicht features don't get support by themselves, there are some odd comments in this thread.

what's so special about it?
what makes it unique?
I checked through the website and frankly can't find anything interesting about it.

Maybe some of us are hoping it wont be not supported like IrrEdit is. I sure hope it does not have the same bugs.
Do you like how I did a double negative there? That is to help confuse those how read it.

Just ignore aaammmsterdddam. 99% of his posts are pointless.
@_ph_: Looks nice, hope you'll keep it going.

meh -_-"
I just wondered what makes this different from all other editors. (I do not consider that pointless, if I were to buy a car, I'd wanna know what makes it better than other cars for example...)
