Correcting Joints in Milkshape3D .ms3d files

Post by Ted H »

This is a handy "fix" for Milkshape 3D files that animate CORRECTLY in Milkshape3D 1.8.4 but INCORRECLTY in Irrlicht 1.8. All you have to do is ZERO your joints ... the command to do this should be in the tools menu (do this before animating). In Milkshape, un-zeroed joints look as if they are rotated to the normal of the parent joint, while zeroed joints look as if they are rotationally aligned to the editors grid. Hope this helps.
