Does the video have to be uploaded on youtube? Or can it be somewhere else?
That would be illogical captain...

easy mate, have decieded that it is impossible to rate projects code wise via youtube, I have updated the 1st post to reflect this, I will update with the ways your projects get rated closer to the submission date.

thanks
Rob

- fully working compiled project
- text explanation
- any prerequisits
- linux or windows versions you have tested with
- brief description
- anything else I need to know
- output avi of the demo on your hardware
(so I can see what you see)

by email to murmuur@thespecialist-online.com, your confirmed entry will be output on this forum. Please note that murmuur is a open source project under the GPL licence, any code submitted must be under similar licences.

The competition is open till 31JAN2010 (extended) and the entries will be assessed on identical hardware on upto date ubuntu32bit/win732bit.

Entrants will only receive the relevent prize once I am happy that all conditions have been met.

thanks

not essential, aslong as it runs on one or the other, with no external libs it should compile under linux or win fine anyways ..

Are the rest of us going to be able to see the submissions, at the least when the competition is closed? I would love to see some videos of the submissions.

Okay, I sent it in. It's only my first project that's more on the sim side, than game, so I can't guarantee Left4Dead  .
